Rarely does a country leap to the top or near the top of the many destinations I’ve been to. Portugal does that, and then some. From its literal warmth (summertime here is lovely) to its figurative warmth (people were friendly and extra helpful upon seeing us with kids), how can you not love Portugal?
Going on a work trip to Toronto meant events, food, and that wonderful Canadian warmth I have come to expect from many trips north.
Nearly seven years after my first trip to Cuba, I returned – but with my father and sister in tow. This time, we explored Vinales in addition to Havana, had an epic meal to end the trip, and I got to introduce my fam to the beauty of Cuba.
