A Weekend in Dallas, TX, USA (September 2017)
There is more to do in Dallas than one can do in a weekend (a day and a half, technically). But last fall I found a cheap ticket, asked two of my friends to hang out, and this is what happened!
Each post reflects a unique trip, destination, or country. It might be a weekend getaway, a two week trip, or could even be a combination of destinations.

Kansas City.
Expected: Great BBQ.
Unexpected: Amazing art, great beer, and green spaces as far as the eye can see.
Detroit. Motor City. Home of Motown and maligned for urban blight. But underneath the stereotypes is a vibrant, thriving city full of warm people.
My 31st state: New Mexico. The destination? Albuquerque. A whirlwind weekend trip, purchased on a whim, with an itinerary determined on arrival. Read ahead for sopapillas, cacti, and nuclear weapons!
How does one do Hong Kong in two and a half days? Simple. Eat well, hike it off, do some shopping, and see some friends. Hong Kong remains one of my favorite cities in the world for gastronomic pleasures and for ease of walking.
