You’re still weird, Austin. And I still like you. A conference took me to the capital of Texas in July 2023, and despite the searing heat, it was another lovely trip filled with food, friends, and fun.
A Weekend in Dallas, TX, USA (September 2017)
There is more to do in Dallas than one can do in a weekend (a day and a half, technically). But last fall I found a cheap ticket, asked two of my friends to hang out, and this is what happened!
Mexico City, Mexico
Take everything you think you know about the Mexican capital and toss most of it away. Because unless you’ve actually been to Ciudad de Mexico, you don’t know jack about it. This is one of the world’s most vibrant and active (not to mention overcrowded) cities…and it’s waiting to show you its treasure trove of history, museums, food, and culture.
